North American shoujo anime fans can rejoice as one of the most popular series will be getting a simulcast for the upcoming winter season.

Nanami and her adventures in goddess training will continue, with plenty of new characters to cause trouble.

Today Funimation announced that they will be simulcasting "Kamisama Hajimemashita" or "Kamisama Kiss" season two. This announcement comes just in time for any fans who may have been worried that they'd have to rely on fan driven english subtitles when the second season airs in January.

So far, fans have expressed overwhelming excitement for the upcoming second season of "Kamisama Kiss."

"I just marathoned the 1st season in literally one day and loved it, so learning of this is a pleasant surprise!" exclaimed Cyan in a My Anime List forum.

"I'm crying and peeing out of excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!" expressed Aina-kun.

"OMG this is my favorite anime ever. I never thought there'd never be a second season!" stated Cocobean32.

Back in November, Anime News Network announced the cast and revealed the new characters for "Kamisama Kiss" season two. The main staff of the first season is also set to return with Akitaro Daichi directing the series at TMS Entertainment and Junko Yamanaka directing the animation and providing the character designs.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Funimation provides the following synopsis for "Kamisama Kiss": "Nanami was just a normal high school girl down on her luck until a stranger's lips marked her as the new Land God and turned her world upside down. Now, she's figuring out the duties of a deity with the help of Tomoe, a reformed fox demon who reluctantly becomes her familiar in a contract sealed with a kiss."

"The new responsibilities-and boys-are a lot to handle, like the crow demon masquerading as a gorgeous pop idol and the adorable snake spirit who's chosen the newly minted god to be his bride. As the headstrong Tomoe tries to whip her into shape, Nanami finds that love just might have cute, pointed fox ears. With romance in the air, will the human deity be able to prove herself worthy of her new title?"
