Particularly, the custom ROM CyanogenMod12 is available for the Galaxy S4 carrying the model number GT-I9505 or those powered by the Snapdragon 600 chipset. According to IBTimes UK, the custom ROM is an optimized version of the CM12 and was released by Senior XDA developer known as AntaresOne.

• The battery level needs to be 80 percent or higher to avoid the phone from experiencing any power interruption during the installation.
• The USB drivers of the Samsung Galaxy S4 should already be installed on the computer so the Galaxy S4 will easily connect with the PC when installation begins.
• Enable USB Debugging Mode on the device by going to Settings > Developer Options.
• Verify the model number of the smartphone unit by going to Settings > About Phone > Model Number.
