Christmas celebrations are not limited to just people and their families, as various Japanese animation studios have released some special Christmas themed drawings for fans.

One anime in particular had an easier time adding Christmas themes to their original concept because it already had a high level of cuteness and warmth.

Today in light of its upcoming January premiere, a new trailer for "Yuri Kuma Arashi" was released along with some Christmas themed images and original drawings.

Earlier this month fans reacted to the news of the first trailer for "Yuri Kuma Arashi" with excitement, or in the very least, intrigue.

"Oooh and with actual footage! Wonderful. Can't wait for this to air next season," commented Stark700 on an ANN forum.

"I'm still not even sure what this is even about. It just seems random lol. But I'll still check it out though," said Kenzichi.

"Woah, so sparkly. The animation looks like it'll get trippy, the character designs look cute, and the backgrounds have a painterly look to them. Can't wait," explained Kevinx59

Crunchyroll reports that today several new images from the creators of "Yuri Kuma Arashi" were released via twitter. The images all have Christmas themes in honor of the current holiday season. Fans can view the new pictures below.

My Anime List provides the following synopsis for "Yuri Kuma Arashi" TV anime: Some time ago, the asteroid Kumaria exploded in the depths of space.

"The resulting fragments became a meteor shower that rained down on Earth, and for some reason, bears all over the world rose up and attacked humanity! In "Man vs. Bear," the bears ate the humans and the humans shot the bears, resulting in a seemingly unending battle and a cycle of hatred. In the end, a giant "Wall of Extinction" was erected between the humans and bears and a state of mutual nonaggression came to pass...

The human world.

One morning, Arashigaoka Academy students Kureha Tsubaki and Sumika Izumino were by themselves and saw the "Yuri Flower" that bloomed in a flower bed. The two are friends as well as lovers. The flower bed is an important place to the two. At that moment, the Bear Alarms ring out! The bears are invading the human world, and humans are being attacked! Are they really those bears? One mystery invokes yet another mystery, one after another. The curtain rises magnificently on Yuri Kuma Arashi!"
