Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain release date is locked and loaded for 2015. The game that received a huge reception throughout the years is expected to be the game of the year by some experts as Konami is expected to take everything the game has to offer to the next level.

MGS 5 Phantom Pain garnered a huge hype after the recenlty held Game Awards 2014, after all eyes were focused about the upcoming title.

Hideo Kojima is about to step it up a notch after also announcing Metal Gear Online, basically a free for all or team battle set on an open world map, where players all over the world could compete against each other.

No official release date has been set as of the moment but Kojima expects fans to get on the edge of their seats for this upcoming Konami surprise.

The release date of Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain hasn't been officially announced as well but fans speculated that Kojima might be hiding something from them. In the recently held Game Awards Night, reports suggested that the man behind Metal Gear might be saying something to everyone after he was seen wearing a shirt with a print "tjugoandra den sjätte" on it.

It is said to be a Swedish term, directly translating to "twenty second the sixth," which sparked some rumors amongst fans, claiming the release date of the game might happen on June 22. 

Kojima is well known to his fans to release "easter eggs" or secret messages everytime and some people think that the shirt incident might be another hint. It was heavily talked about it this reddit post.

"Metal Gear fans may remember Joakim Mogren and Moby Dick Studios. The fake studio and masked developer that was actually Hideo Kojima. They were based out of Stockholm, Sweden.

Those above words, when translated in Swedish, spell out the words twenty-second and sixth."
