Marvel Phase Three Cinematic Universe Looking To Cast 'The Godfather' Al Pacino As Star Lord's Father In 'Guardians Of The Galaxy 2?'

The lineup of Marvel Phase Three Cinematic Universe is definitely something fans are looking forward to.

And one of the movies in the lineup that promises to take the world by storm is the sequel to the surprising hit intergalactic superhero movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The last of Marvel's film for 2014 was so impressive that "The Godfather" star himself, Al Pacino described the movie as something that arouses his "Shakespearean feeling".

The fans immediately went crazy when the award winning actor made a statement at Venice International Film Festival saying that he's open to the idea that he'll be appearing in one of the Marvel Phase Three Cinematic Universe movies.

"I would do anything that I could understand in terms of how I fit in it. And you know, of course if I could fit in it. Anything's possible. You know, I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?" as reported by Screen Rant.

He further fueled speculations when he appeared on "Happy Sad Confused" podcast revealing that he already talked with Marvel's big boss Kevin Feige.

"I've met with the Marvel guy," the 74-year-old Oscar winning actor revealed, referring to Kevin Feige. "It's a marvel how things happen." He continued, "I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me -" then he was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. He jokingly claimed that it was Marvel's president calling him telling him to shut up. "Every time we talk about Marvel, that's what happens," he quipped.

While there's no talk to which specific Marvel Phase Three Cinematic Universe movie Al Pacino is going to appear in, speculations suggest that he will be included in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" movie as Star Lord's father.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will feature returning cast members starring Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon.
