Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay To Include Record-Keeping Technology [RUMORS]

Star Wars: Battlefront gameplay is set to include the Battlelog service, which allows gamers to compare records and statistics with other users, Attack of the Fanboy reports.

Uprise, the company that constructed Battlelog, posted material on its website that points in the direction of the upcoming game including it.

A No Man's Sky gameplay trailer released on YouTube revealing the feature in its game has led some to believe developers like Electronic Arts and DICE will be able to include the same feature for Star Wars Battlefront.

The game is also said to include Chrome Stormtroopers from movie.

The "Pre-Alpha" version of the game is available online for download, the Air Herald reports, revealing more information about the upcoming title's gameplay and features.

The version, however, is said to only be available to a small number of people who have access to it.

Rumors on gaming forums suggest that Star Wars: Battlefront developers will release a new gameplay trailer for the game, but Electronic Arts has not announced any new footage for display.

EA Games Label president Frank Gibeau has confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront has adjustable gameplay perspectives, including third-person views, What Culture reports.

Star Wars: Battlefront is rumored to include Deathtroopers from Joe Schreiber's 2009 novel, Movie Pilot reports.

Electronic Arts chief financial officer Blake Jorgenson confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will be the company's "major first-person shooter," PC Game reports, revealing more information about the title's gameplay.

Gameplay footage for Star Wars: Battlefront was released in a recent YouTube trailer leak, but the video's uploader revealed information about points of confusion for some gamers.

"Some footage of the build of Star Wars: Battlefront that got canceled," the YouTube user wrote in the video's description.

"This build is from 2007 and was ported over from the PC. ... The game looked very fun to playand runs pretty well other then the obvious frame rate drops. ... This is being run on an Xbox 360 for those of you that got confused."
