'Hunger Games' Star Jennifer Lawrence Tops Highest Grossing Actors Of 2014; Who Came In Next?

The list of top-grossing actors are now out and Jennifer Lawrence is on top with her blockbuster movies of this year, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

Reality World quoted a Forbes list naming Lawrence as her movies earned the highest this year with $1.4 billion worldwide.

Chris Pratt who is popular for "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Lego Movie" is in no. 2 spot with $1.2 billion; Scarlett Johansson at No. 3 with $1.8 billion and Mark Wahlberg at No. 4 with $1billion and Chris Evans No. 5 with $801 million.

Completing the top 10 list are Emma Stone with the hit "Spiderman" movie, Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman.

An earlier article has reported that "Mockingjay," if the estimates were right during its third weekend have a total earnings of $259 million toppling the haul made by "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

So far for 2014, 'Guardians of the Galaxy" was the top grossing film of the year with $331 million, with "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" most likely at second and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in third.

In 2012, "The Hunger Games," earned $152 million in its opening weekend, then in 2013 "Catching Fire" grossed $158 million. Overall the Hunger Games franchise has made over $1 billion.

Although "Catching Fire" did well than the other films, Mockingjay is coming close; the films still made history when it comes to earnings hauled by franchise films such as "Harry Potter."

The Oscar Award winning actress, who has a lot of good roles, played on her side.

It is a good year for Lawrence with a song up at the UK charts as well.

Lawrence's "The Hanging Tree" had made it to the music chart

 Lawrence: "was horrified to sing, she cried a little bit in the morning she had to sing," as described in reports of her stint as a singer.
