Epik High Releases 'Shoebox' Music Video On New Year's Eve

YG Entertainment’s hip-hop trio Epik High released the music video for title track of their critically-acclaimed album “Shoebox” on December 31.

The music video features candid concert and behind-the-scenes footage of the group, shot during their recent performances in Korea.

Epik High’s Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz are featured throughout the video.

The music video also includes scenes of Tablo and his adorable daughter Haru, who captured the hearts of Korean audiences on the variety show “The Return of Superman.”

“Shoebox” is a soulful R&B track which benefits from the rap interludes provided by Epik High. The song features vocals from MYK.

Epik High signed with YG Entertainment in 2012, after departing from Woollim Entertainment. 2014 was a strong year for Epik High, with “Shoebox” yielding the successful tracks “Born Hater” and “Happen Ending.”

"Shoebox" was released on October 21 and reached the number one spot on numerous iTunes charts. The album also reached seventh place on the Hip-Hop/R&B chart in the United States.

The members of Epik High were responsible for the production of the star-studded album which featured other prominent figures in Korean hip-hop such as Verbal Jint, Beenzino, Mino from WINNER, along with iKON members Bobby and B.I.

The "Shoebox" music video serves as an excellent conclusion for Epik High, who will undoubtedly impress audiences in 2015.
