The casting speculation has been growing wild. The latest rumors say Michael B. Jordan may be on board.

ComicBook.com reported that Power Rangers veteran Jason David Frank will be involved in the reboot, but they didn't get into how much work he'd be doing.

"I probably will be involved. They talked to me about it. I don't know how much I am involved, but for sure cameos at least in the reboot movie," Frank told ComicBook.com in a recent interview.

Power Ranger stars Amy Jo Johnson is also reportedly back.

According to MTV News, Chloe Grace Moretz was added to the Power Rangers Movie reboot cast as the Pink Ranger and legendary actress Meryl Streep will play the Power Rangers villain Rita Repulsa. The movie, titled the 'Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers', will explore the backgrounds of each of the Power Rangers and how the group of high school students got their super powers.

According to reports, Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who wrote the screenplays for the comic book movies Thor and X Men: First Class, will co-write the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers script.
