Deafconn Assembles New Female Project Group With G.Na, Lizzy, Sohyun & Youngji

Fans are anticipating the "arrival" of rapper Defconn and comedian Jung Hyung Don's all-female concept group for 2015. The reports began in mid-December, following the success of their all-male concept group Big Byung. This is the second group produced by Defconn and Jung Hyung Don during their popular Hitmaker series on MBC Every1.

The four female idols set to participate in the yet-to-be-named concept group are After School and Orange Caramel's Lizzy, Heo Youngji of KARA, G.Na, and 4Minute's Kwon Sohyun. Aside from the appeal of each young lady, the members pulled from each girl group are maknaes!  Being the youngest of their respective groups makes this upcoming experience a great opportunity to showcase their individual charms. G.Na and Youngji have gained popularity through their appearances on MBC's Real Men and SBS' Roommate 2, respectively.

The producers' first concept, Big Byung, consists of Yook Sungjae of BTOB, Jackson of GOT7,and VIXX members  N and Hyuk. The producers and Big Byung recently returned for their second season of Hitmaker on December 12, 2014. Big Byung made big waves with their debut solo, "Stress Come On," last year, all without officially promoting on any music shows! The group's fancafe surpassed 15,000 members in early December as well.

Mwave reports that Big Byung will be featured in 6 episodes this season, with the remaining 6 dedicated to the girl group. The girls are scheduled for their first appearance on January 16, 2015.
