Birdman Making The Wrong Decision About Lil Wayne's Album? Suge Knight Has Weezy’s Back

Music producer Birdman and Lil Wayne have their differences regarding the release of "Tha Carter V" album, but another music mogul Suge Knight is throwing his support behind Weezy.

The TMZ cameras caught up with Suge Knight and asked about his opinion the Birdman and Lil Wayne's feud.

"Double shout-outs to Lil Wayne for being free. Not stopping him.," he told TMZ. "You know, Lil Wayne is somebody I got a lot of love and respect for. It ain't about picking him up, it's about having his back," he said.

"Because of Wayne, most people got their passes. So they better pass it up. And Drake, as long as you stay down with Wayne, you don't got to worry about the last dance with the dancer. It comes," Suge Knight added.

The former CEO of Death Row records, Suge Knight has been responsible for the successes of rappers like the late Tupac Shakur, Snoop Doog, Dr. Dre, MC Hammer and Tha Dogg Pound.

Nicki Minaj, who's signed on to Young Money label, earlier told DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 that things will work out eventually between Birdman and Lil Wayne despite their feud.

"I know that Wayne and Baby love each other, and I know they're going to resolve anything that needs to be resolved. I am Young Money. I ride with Wayne on whatever - that's just how I am. But Baby has played such a huge role in my mental stability," she said.

Previously, TMZ  reported that Lil Wayne is taking his feud with Birdman to another level as he threatened to sue Cash Money Records if Birdman doesn't release his new album immediately.

"Sources very close to the feud tell TMZ ... Wayne has issued a simple ultimatum, in writing, no less -- release 'Tha Carter V' pronto ... or he will sue to leave Cash Money altogether," the website said.
