Girl group EXID has been making their way up and topping charts with their song, “Up & Down.”

Group EXID suddenly began gaining attention after member Hani’s fan cams became viral online. Their song originally released back in August of last year and later gained attention in November. In December, they began making their way up the charts and on December 24, their song, “Up & Down” topped the Melon music chart.

According to reports, many thought that their song would quickly die down after a short period of time, but it ended up topping the chart at the end of the year. They also performed their song on TV and different concerts as well.

And today, January 5, they topped 2015’s first week weekly chart with their song, “Up & Down.” This is the first time since the group’s debut to become one of the candidates for first place on a music show.

Although they did not end up taking home first place, they stated that they were thankful to even be nominated as one of the candidates for first place.

EXID plans to make a comeback sometime this month or next month with a new album.
