JYJ member Jaejoong began his first round of ticket sales for his birthday fan meeting and sold out quickly.

Today, January 5, he opened the first round of sales for tickets starting at 8 AM local time and was immediately sold out, according to reports.

His agency reported, “Jaejoong’s fan meeting tickets were sold out in just 15 minutes. We feel that it was sold out quickly because of the many fans that were not able to attend his birthday fan meeting form last year.”

Jaejoong will be holding his birthday fan meeting on January 26 at the Seoul Jamsil Stadium.

After announcing that he would be holding a birthday fan meeting, fans from Asia, Europe, South America and other parts of the world showed much interest. Media reported that many fans that were not able to buy tickets had requested for additional ticket sales as well.

A ticket sales official stated, “As Jaejoong is a global star, there were many foreign users entering the site. This shows just how much fans wanted to spend Jaejoong’s birthday with him. Jaejoong is also excited to meet his fans and is preparing various programs and events for the fan meeting.”

On the other hand, Jaejoong will be appearing in the new KBS2 drama, “Spy” that will air on January 9.
