Korean Air, "We Made A Mistake In Ticketing Bobby Kim's Plane Ticket"

Singer Bobby Kim revealed that he felt "uncomfortable with the seating problems" and Korean Air said, "There were mistakes in the ticketing process."

On January 9, one representative of Korean Air said, "By the mistake of an employee, we accidentally issued him a regular seat. Bobby Kim took the ticket without knowing in the beginning but he came back to change it. So we tried to take care of it with his mileage but we miscalculated the mileage and told him that he doesn't have enough mileage to change his seat to a business seat."

The representative continued, "Bobby Kim had originally reserved a business seat but he hadn't ticketed it before he came to the airport. You can reserve spots without paying the price of the ticket but in order to completely ticket it, you must pay the full price. It was a mistake on one of our employee's part in ticketing that reservation."

And, "We tried to ticket for him again but Bobby Kim did not want to change his seat because he was concerned that the plane would be delayed because of him. He had agreed with the situation and returned to his seat. But once you're on the plane, you can't change your seat to a business seat just because there are empty seats. He was ticketed for a regular seat so we could not change his seat to the business class."

About the big fuss Bobby Kim had made on the airplane, his agency said, "He drank wine provided by the airplane and these unforeseen circumstances came up. We would like to deeply apologize for the inconvenience he has caused."
