JYP Entertainment's 15-year trainee GSOUL is debuting, catching much attention.

GSOUL who had been a trainee of JYP Entertainment for the past 15 years will finally be making his debut on January 19. 

GSOUL is already widely known to music fans.

There were many hardships up to his debut. GSOUL had hardships back at home and even though JYP had to close his business in the U.S. and return to Korea, GSOUL kept his place in the U.S. and showed continuous determination.

Park Jin Young said, "I was so shocked by his musical talents that I sent him to the U.S. to learn more. He was only a trainee without a set date of debut so we only sent him minimum support but he tried his best and grew endlessly. His music then came to a point where even American musicians were surprised by his level. He was almost in the final stage of debuting in the U.S. when a financial difficulty struck Lehmann Brothers, and we were forced to close everything we had planned for America."

He continued, "But he said he would remainin the U.S. He told me that there is still too much for him to learn. I offered him to debut in Korea because his skills then were enough to make a huge hit in Korea but there was no hesitation in him. So he decided to stay by himself."

After such hardships, GSOUL is finally debuting. JYP guarantees that GSOUL is a singer who could completely change the R&B of Korea.
