Are Kingdom Hearts 3 Characters Delaying Release Date Confirmation? [NEWS]

Earlier this week, Kingdom Hearts 3 voice actor Bill Farmer posted a message on Twitter mentioning that he has finished his recording for the game's Goofy character, mentioning that "it is supposed to come out later this year."

Following his message being posted, however, Square Enix USA posted a response on Twitter to rumors about an end-of-year release date: "There was a Goof! The release date for @KINGDOMHEARTS III remains unannounced."

Could the game's release date be delayed because of voice recordings for characters?

However, Kingdom Hearts 3 developer Tetsuya Nomura has publicly revealed that the game's 2015 release date has been pushed back from a mid-year to a late-year launch because of technical and development issues-further optimization of the game's engine and operating system has been cited as the main reason.

Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee is said to make a character appearance in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 game, online rumors are suggesting. Recently, developer Tai Yasue revealed information about rumors surrounding possible Star Wars characters in the upcoming game.

"I can't really go into any specifics or say anything about Star Wars, but when we come up with worlds we really want variety and to make sure that there's a lot of different types of worlds," he said, according to IGN.

The game's developer Tetsuya Nomura revealed during a recent interview with Venture Beat that the gameplay characters "are very cheerful and happy, and they kind of resemble the light in the world."

"As well as the Disney characters: They're inherently very bright and cheery. Personally, I feel that I'm not that good of a person, so I relate better to the enemy characters. The story continues to develop because I'm in that mindset of 'How does this enemy confront Sora?' and I pose those hurdles and challenges [to him]," he also reveals in the gaming feature story interview.
