Ali met Na Young's father in discreetly.

On December 17th, Ali met Na Young's father in an entertainment company located in Seoul to ask for his forgiveness with tears.

Author So Jae Won who wrote the book 'Finding wings of hope' which dealt with the Jo Doo Soon case wrote on her mini home page "Today(17th) I got a text from Na Young's father who had plans to meet Ali at 3 in the afternoon. When I called Na Young's father right away he was already on his way home after meeting Ali", revealing their meeting.

Author So Jae Won stated "the father told me that (Ali) was a pretty soft child who thinks deeply. He asked me to write an encouraging notes because she's a very nice and innocent person".

Until now Ali was pressured by the public to meet Na Young in person and apologize, but she kept the meeting between her and Na Young's father in secret.

Before this Na Young was caught up in the controversy with the song 'Na Young Ee' which was included in her official album which she put out two years after her debut. The song 'Na Young Ee' was written based on the child rape case that took place in December 2008 in a restroom of a church located in Kyung Gi Do.

Ali wrote the song 'Na Young Ee' as a means of comfort, but netizens pointed out the lyrics "throwing away the youth/sell body sell soul/your sad life that's been taken away' arguing that it was not compatible with the point she was trying to make.

When the controversy got heated up, Ali apologized for the lyrics of 'Na Young Ee' and decided to get rid of all files related to it. However when the voice of controversy still didn't die down, Ali held an emergency press conference in Seoul art center concert hall on the 16th to reveal "I am also a victim of sexual assault" with tears.

Ali was sexually assaulted by a lower classman in June of 2008. The criminal received 2 years of sentence, probation of 4 years, and community service of 200 hours but still hasn't said a word of apology. Ali confessed of wanting to comfort Na Young Ee as a fellow victim who can relate to how it feels to have been sexually assaulted.
