Kara and SNSD made 133 billion dollars in Japan this year.

According to the '44th yearly ranking 2011' released by Oricon December 19th (2010 December 27~2011 December 19) in the last year single, album, and DVD added together totaled 4.8 billion dollars, coming in 4th.

In the same are SNSD earned total of 5.5 billion dollars, coming in 5th place.

Comparing with last year's records on '43rd Oricon yearly ranking' totaled 1.3 billion dollars and SNSD 8.8 billion dollars. Over the one year Kara and SNSD multiplied in income, proving their stance as girl groups in Japan.
