Can Kpop make room for two more artists?

You may already know who Jo Youngsoo is, if not by face, then by the songs he has composed. In 2011 alone, he wrote over 60 songs. One of his most cherished pieces is "Cry Cry," a hit song performed by T-ara.

Now this world-famous Korean composer is brewing up the perfect potion for a girl group he plans to debut in spring of 2012. His ambitious plans include the release of a male RnB duo soon after. In an interview, Jo shared part of his vision. He envisions the girl group to have 4-5 members, and for them to be one-of-a-kind. Because he plans for the group to become Kpop idols, he states the girls will have to be set apart in their beauty and sound. He wants a "group unlike any Korea has seen so far."

When asked if there was any girl group at all he sees as similar to his, he answered, "Brown Eyed Girls." He commented that he liked the concept and tone of the Brown Eyed Girls, and is working very hard to design the next big thing from Korea.

He also stated at the end of the interview that, while he can't be certain of the future, he knows that most of the hit songs he composed came when he worked like a mad man, and that he has been working just as hard in this latest endeavor.
