Will Fin.K.L Ever Be Able To Rekindle Their ‘Eternal Love’?

Will we ever get to see timeless fairies Fin.K.L (Lee Hyori, Sung Yuri, Ock Ju Hyun, and Lee Jin) in one place again?

The recent episode of Infinity Challenge's Saturday Night Singers has become a hot topic amongst singers involved in the media realm. However, the lack of Fin.K.L's presence on the show caused great disappointment, as the 90s girl group was a staple of Korean pop music.

However, the possibility of their joint appearance became a possibility on the MBC show Healing Camp-Aren't You Happy that aired on the 12th.  MC Sung Yuri proposed an invitation to Ock Ju Hyun through the show and also shared tears reminiscing with Lee Hyori on a phone conversation. Thus, the possibility of a Fin.K.L reunion became surprisingly possible, with members of the girl group reciprocating positive feelings about the situation.

During a tearful phone conversation, Lee Hyori expressed that there was no feud and that there were only minor disagreements in opinions. Ock Ju Hyun also teared up regarding the situation, jokingly claiming that the other members tears were making her forget about her mixed feelings.

During the emotional episode, MC Lee Kyung Ku asked a more direct question concerning the fight between Lee Hyori and Lee Jin. Ock Ju Hyun cleaned up the miscommunication stating, "When we traveled, Yuri and Lee Jin often searched for a church service while Hyori and I looked for fun. That was the only thing that made us drift apart."

Lee Jin's agency King Kong Entertainment revealed in a phone interview with OSEN that the only thing that stopped the group from getting together was a lack of communication, not a underlying feud.

The statements released from all four girls seems to clear up the misunderstanding that the group was not on good terms.  However, Lee Jin's stance on the whole situation seems to be a bit more conservative. Lee Jin's Agency claimed that a Fin.K.L reunion was not the first things on their minds and that they would solely focus on Lee Jin's acting career at the moment.

What could be the reason behind Lee Jin's careful approach?   Perhaps the reason lies behind Lee Hyori and Sung Yuri's successful entertainment careers and Ock Ju Hyun's outstanding musical career. Lee Jin's new approach to acting could possibly have her feeling inadequate to her fellow members and a Fin.K.L reunion could reaffirm that fact.

However, the bottom line seems to be that there is no underlying troubles within the group's chemistry. Despite fan's desperate want for a reunion, the act of coming together is not certain. Will we ever be able to observe the group's "Eternal Love" again?
