A former Korean idol group member was caught off guard by a question relating to another former member of the same group.

Former EXO member Kris, known as Wu Yifan in China, appeared alongside other actors at a press conference for the upcoming Chinese film, Somewhere Only We Know. During the press conference, Kris spoke about romance and his desire for many people to see the film. During a question and answer session, one journalist created an awkward moment for all parties involved when he asked Kris whether he would invite fellow ex-EXO member, Luhan, to see the movie.

Kris responded with shocked, wide eyes before smiling and staying silent until someone else brought up a different topic.

Fans of EXO were shocked last May when Kris, then the leader and rapper of EXO's Mandarin-speaking subgroup EXO-,M announced that he would be leaving the idol group and suing SM Entertainment, EXO's agency, for an illegal contract. His departure was followed by Luhan's, who left EXO in October and also sued SM Entertainment.

A video uploaded by fans at the January 1 event shows Kris answering questions with ease, until a question shocks him.

Kris was telling fans and the members of the media to watch Somewhere Only We Know, and said that he would invite the journalist to a viewing.

"Will you invite Luhan over too?" the reporter asked, leading to an awkward moment. Kris' expression is visibly surprised, and he looks relieved when someone else asks a question.

Both Luhan and Kris are Chinese, and the two began pursuing entertainment careers in China shortly after leaving EXO. The two have never publicly encountered one another in China nor have they ever addressed one anothers departure from EXO.
