5 Best K-Pop Idol Parody Videos

K-Pop idols love making fun of themselves: whether it's acquiring a funny hairstyle, retelling stories of wardrobe malfunctions or recreating other artists' songs with a twist. Here's a list of the five best idol parodies, which made us laugh, cringe, and shake our heads with reverence and appreciation.

The Brown Eyed Girls Sing "Plastic Face" Surgery Anthem

The Brown Eyed Girls' JeA, Narsha and Miryo recorded a parody version of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" for SNL Korea called "Plastic Face." In the song, dubbed the "Plastic and Proud" 2012 anthem, the artists admitted their own plastic surgery procedures, outed other celebrities who had work done, and scoffed at the hypocrisy of those that demand natural beauty while consciously turning a blind eye.

The song lyrics proclaimed, "Have you heard of clippers that can change your eyes, mouth, nose, and jaw? The chest you freaked out about was made from water droplet silicone." Miryo goes on to rap that if you do a bundle and bring a friend, you'll get a discount from your surgeon. The song was hilarious, unapologetic and a much-needed cup of truth tea.

MBLAQ Laugh At Their Flaws And Controversies With "Step By Step"

MBLAQ made fun of the cookie-cuter boy band image with the song "Step By Step" for SNL Korea. The members sang about the stereotypical images each one possessed in the public's eye and recounted controversies they had faced. Leader Seungho sang about no one knowing who he was, Lee Joon just couldn't stop crying over his We Got Married partner Oh Yeon Seo, Mir obviously mentioned his farm and embarrassing stint on Real Men, G.O talked about his terrible acting and decided to spell his incredibly short name, and the first words that came out of Cheondung's mouth were, "Sandara Park is my sister."

This video reminded us of everything we love about MBLAQ. You can watch the parody below!

Ga In Becomes G-Dragon For "One of a Ga In."

Ga In became G-Dragon for "One of a Ga In," a parody music video based off the artist's hit single "One of a Kind." Ga In wore leopard print and put on a blond wig in the DIY style video, which was created for the Brown Eyed Girls' 'Tonight 37.2 C 2012' Christmas concert. Ga In sang about being "wild and old" and "one of a Ga In." Meanwhile, composer Lee Min Soo did a very memorable and monotonous "Hello" for the chorus that will have you bursting with laughter. The music video also had amazing cameos by Brown Eye Girls' Narsha and Miryo!

Onew Turns Seungri's "Strong Baby" Into Poetry

When SHINee's Onew was a radio DJ, he chose to dissect Seungri's first solo single "Strong Baby" for his "Is this English?" special corner. The result was surprisingly poetic and absolutely hilarious. It's hard to decide which version is more enjoyable, Seungri's sexy whispering or Onew's rather romantic, broken English. Either way, this shall forever be immortalized as one of the best parodies in K-pop.

2AM & 2PM Become The Dirty Eyed Girls

2AM and 2PM banded together to write a song about cleaning by using the Brown Eyed Girls' song "Abracadabra." Watching idols known for their "beastly" masculine image throw their legs into the air while in zebra print tights is one of the most glorious things in the world. If you thought you would never see Taecyeon cleaning someone's underwear on camera, you were wrong. I will spoil nothing else, see the magnificence of the Dirty Eyed Girls below!
