Psy Discusses Popularity In America

Earlier this week international sensation Psy visited the "Rolling Stone" headquarters to answer questions about his huge success with his song "Gangnam Style" and all the attention it had received.

Psy shared with "Rolling Stone" that he did not intend for the song to become so big or expect it to be noticed by an international audience.

Psy spoke in regards to his newfound fame versus his past attention in Korea stating, "I was not important, I was not famous".

Due to the fact that "Gangnam Style" has reached such high popularity, Psy feels he "can't take off his sunglasses" as they are a signature point in his style.

Psy was even recognized by popular American artist Jon Bon Jovi, leaving Psy to feel amazed because he had been a fan of him from his song "You Give Love a Bad Name".

While Psy gives off a very goofy personality, he wasn't always the way he is now. Back when he was in Berklee College of Music, he would skip class because "class was too early".

Psy is currently in America, promoting his song, "Gangnam Style". He recently met up with the cast of "Jersey Shore" and the hosts of "The View".
