'Prometheus 2' Spoilers: Dragons Let Go In Sequel; 2016 Release Date Still On?

"Prometheus 2" spoilers reveal that dragons won't be part of the sequel as Ridley Scott's film is still on pace for a 2016 release.

In a report from Movie Pilot, Ridley Scott claimed that the material for "Prometheus 2" is very fresh.

He said they are "getting away from gods and dragons and shit. If I see one more dragon I'm going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons."

The "Blade Runner" director also said that the script for the movie is already finished, after undergoing through about 15 drafts and several screenwriters. As to the presence of the Xenomorphs in the "Prometheus 2," the director teased this spoiler:

"The beast is done. Cooked," he said. "After four, I think it wears out a little bit. There's only so much snarling you can do. I think you've got to come back with something more interesting. And I think we've found the next step. I thought the Engineers were quite a good start."

In an earlier interview, Noomi Rapace, who plays Elizabeth Shaw, teased some "Prometheus 2" spoilers.

"I know that Elizabeth Shaw wants to go to Paradise; you know, I say that in the first one," she said. "She can't go to Earth; there's nothing left for her there really. And she wants to go where they came from, those giant creatures. In her head that's dark paradise, in a way. So what's there? I don't know. I think she wants answers."

As to who she might find in the new world, Noomi Rapace said that she could only guess. "Maybe God or [the] devil," the actress suggested. "I don't know. I don't know where he's going to take us, but I can't wait to go there. I don't know what we're going to discover."

Watch out for more "Prometheus 2" spoilers as the film is set to be released in theaters next year.
