EXO Begins Production For Web Drama 'EXO Next Door'

Members of SM Entertainment idol group EXO will star in a new web drama, "EXO Next Door."

The web drama, literally titled "EXO Lives Next Door To My House," will be broadcast online. There are currently three episodes planned, and it is unknown whether additional episodes will be filmed. The episodes are currently in production by Oh! Boy Productions and LINE, the corporation that owns one of Korea's most popular messenger applications.

An image of the script was posted on Korean website Instiz, revealing some of the information. Comments on Instiz included criticism about the title. Netizens, online commenters, said that the title was like something from a fanfiction, the stories that fans write about their favorite celebrities, movies, books, etc.

It is unclear whether certain members of EXO will appear in "EXO Next Door," or if all ten members of the popular boy band will appear. It is also unknown as to who will be starring alongside EXO in the web series.

Several members have acted in the past. D.O appeared in the widely acclaimed 2014 drama, It's Okay, That's Love and the film, Cart. Fellow members Chanyeol, Suho, Sehun, and Tao have also acted.

It is also unknown when "EXO Next Door" will begin airing.

EXO debuted in 2012 under SM Entertainment, with twelve members. Two members left the group in 2014, and the group has continued as ten ever since. The group is expected to make a comeback early in 2015. The group's 2015 teaser video recently was embroiled in possible plagiarism issues, so was removed from YouTube. After clearing up a misunderstanding, SM Entertainment re-uploaded the video to YouTube.
