As a scandal of actor Hong Jong Hyun and girl group After School's member Nana has been released, the PD of the show "We Got Married" revealed that it's not true.

PD of MBC entertainment department said, "A few months ago, I asked Hong Jong Hyun if he's dating Nana. Our program deals with a virtual marriage and there would be problems in the genuinity of it if even one party is dating in real life. We believe that whoever appears on our show should put in their genuine heart into it so we checked with him."

She continued, "Jong Hyun said he's close friends with Nana. They just met as friends and the scandal created misunderstandings."

She said, "We make all the cast members of our show promise that they will participate in the virtual marriage with genuinity. If that seems to waver even a little bit, our staff goes through a checking process. We already checked with Jong Hyun so we're not shocked by the scandal. We make cast members step down from the show if their genuinity seems even a little bit doubtful."

Hong Jong Hyun is currently in the show "We Got Married" with Girl's Day's member Yura.

One representative of Hong Jong Hyun said, "Hong Jong Hyun is currently in Singapore for a photo shoot so it's hard to reach him. We'll announce as soon as we make sure with him." Nana's agency said, "They're close friends but not dating. The scandal is not true."
