We compare the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and iPhone 6 Plus in terms of display, hardware, storage, camera, battery and price to see which device is worth buying.

Display

According to GSM Arena, the iPhone 6 Plus has a LED-backlit IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and ppi of 401. In comparison, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a TFT display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 and ppi of 224.

Hardware

Under the hood, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet runs on a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus runs on an Apple A8 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz.

The iPohne 6 Plus has 1GB of RAM and a PowerVR GX6450 GPU, while Sony's tablet has 3GB of RAM and it has an Adreno 330 GPU.

Storage

The iPhone 6 Plus has 16, 64 and 128GB variants, but it does not offer a memory expansion. However, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a 16GB variant and its storage capacity could be increased up to 64GB via memory card.

Camera

The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has 8.1MP camera at the back and a 2.2MP camera on the front. The camera has autofocus, Geo tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama and other photography features you can explore with.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 Plus has an 8MP camera at the back and 1.2MP camera on the front. It features optical image stabilization, dual LED flash, phase detection, HDR and among others.

Battery and Price

The iPhone 6 Plus has a 2915 mAh battery while the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a non-removable Li-Po 6000 mAh battery.

As for the price, the Sony Xperia Z2 tablet costs $600 while, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus 16GB variant costs $820 according to Amazon.
