Lee Joon Discusses His Upcoming Role In 'I Heard Some Rumor'

Lee Joon delivered a video message to his fans, while providing information about his role in the SBS drama ‘I Heard Some Rumor.’ On January 23, former MBLAQ member Lee Joon provided a video greeting from his new agency, Prain TPC. During the short video, Lee Joon described his experience with filming the first episode of “I Heard Some Rumor.”

In the video, Lee Joon is dressed in the school uniform of his character Han In Sang. As reported by Enews, he introduced his Han In Sang to viewers while requesting support from his fans. Lee Joon explained, “Han In Sang is a model student who has never went against his parents.” Han In Sang’s personality begins to change after he falls in love with a girl named Seo Bom.

“I Heard Some Rumor” has the potential to be a dark drama due to the collaboration of producer Ahn Pan Suk and screenwriter Jung Sung Joo. Jung Sung Joo and Ahn Pan Suk previously worked together on the 2014 controversial hit drama “Secret Love Affair” and “A Wife’s Credentials.”

Lee Joon received positive attention in 2014 for his portrayal of Ryu Tae Oh in the thriller “Gap Dong.” He followed his role in “Gap Dong” with his portrayal of Choi Dae Han, a spoiled heir, in the fantasy romantic comedy “Mr. Baek.”

Lee Joon signed an exclusive contract with Prain TPC on January 7, following the expiration of his contractual obligations with J. Tune Entertainment. He attributed his pursuit of an acting career over music as the motivating factor for his departure from MBLAQ.

Filming for ‘I Heard Some Rumor” kicked off on January 23 and the drama will begin broadcasting in February.
