Lindsey Vonn gushed about how good of a boyfriend Tiger Woods is as the champion skier was surprised by the future hall of famer when he showed up at her recent race.

"I didn't know he was here at the finish until I actually was done with my race," she said.

"My dad said, 'Hey, look, I found someone!' I mean, it was incredible. I hoped that he would come but you know he's in training, he's got a tournament coming up and I would have never expected him to show up. It meant a lot to me, you know," the champion skier added.

Perhaps overwhelmed by the surprise visit, Lindsey Vonn was profuse with praise for Tiger Woods as she told reporters that, "He's a catch. He's a good boyfriend."

Tiger Woods proved every bit a trooper because he stayed to support Lindsey Vonn even after his tooth was knocked off by a videographer during the event.

According to TMZ Sports, Tiger Woods' front tooth was knocked out by a videographer covering the skiing competitoin at the World Cup in Italy.

"During a crush of photographers as the awards podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged toward the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth," his agent Mark Steinber said, adding that his tooth was knocked out in the process.

It was a good day, however, even with his tooth knocked out as Lindsey Vonn broke a world record and became the "most successful female in Alpine skiing World Cup history," said E! News.

To hide his gap-toothed smile, Tiger Woods wore a mask emblazoned with a skull with a full-toothed grin. That only made the surprise, a non-surprise as Lindsey Vonn recognized her boyfriend immediately.

"He loves that stupid mask," she said. "I didn't think this could get any better than (Sunday) with my entire family here, but now with Tiger here, this is unbelievable. "I said, 'I can't believe you came.' And he said, 'I told you.'"
