Crayon Pop To Wear Traditional Chinese Clothing For Collaboration With DT Boys

Girl group Crayon Pop will be collaborating with a popular Chinese boy group.

Crayon Pop has recorded their seasonal song, “123 Happy New Year” with Chinese idol group DT Boys at the end of last year and has also finished the music video shoot as well.

The song was already released in China on January 22nd.

News of their collaboration was reported through Chinese CCTV, CNTV and popular website QQ.com.

“This Korea-China collaboration was first requested by popular Chinese agency, Dien Tong Entertainment,” read a statement by Chrome Entertainment. “Their song, ‘123 Happy New Year’ is a song that will bring happiness to everyone during the cold months.”

This collaboration will be their first step into breaking into the Chinese entertainment industry.

The song features a bright melody and a powerful drum beat. In the music video, Crayon Pop will be wearing traditional Chinese clothing as well.

The recording, photo shoot and music video for this collaboration was all conducted in secret in Korea.

Chinese group DT Boys consists of Wei Yining, Chen Xiao and Wang Bowen.

Crayon Pop and DT Boys’ collaboration stage will first be revealed on January 30th at the Youth Amigo Concert in Beijing.
