‘Fallout 4’ Release Date Finally Happening Next Year? Lead Designer Of ‘New Vegas’ Talks About What Bethesda Has In Store For The Game

After numerous talks and rumors of a "Fallout 4" release date happening, more speculations and words from fans and experts continue to pop out as everybody is waiting for news if the game would come out.

Christian Post recently reported that fans are once again smothered with another rumor that might confirm the release date of "Fallout 4" after Bethesda allegedly filed for trademarks for the Pip Boy device, seen in the Fallout games at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Vice President of Bethesda, meanwhile confirmed that the filing is not a hoax and is real after he confirmed the move on his Twitter account.

Meanwhile, an interview with lead designer of "Fallout: New Vegas" Josh Sawyer by Eurogamer last year, hinted something for "Fallout 4" fans to take note of after probably hinting that they have some ideas for a follow up game moving forward from "New Vegas."

"A lot of stuff I did in New Vegas was to try and make choices feel more impactful and meaningful and to challenge the player," he said. "Some people want to go through the wasteland like a tourist, which is fine - they don't really want it to be super-difficult. They want it to be interesting and engaging, and they want to see a lot of neat stuff and go through a cool story. And that's cool.

"Personally I like things to be a little more challenging," he added, "and there's a segment of players that also want [that]. I don't have any doubt in this."

"I hope Bethesda continues to make everything very mod friendly," he said. "How they've worked with the community is... the mod community for Bethesda's games is amazing. I hope they continue to support them because it's really cool."
