Actress Nam Sang Mi married her non-celebrity husband on January 24 in a small church wedding in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do. Only family members and close friends were invited. The wedding was officiated by the pastor of the church that she recently began attending with her in-laws.

According to her agency JR Entertainment, it was exactly the kind of wedding she always wanted.

"She always wanted to have a private wedding," said the JR Entertainment representative. "We have sent our personal apologies to the people who were not invited."
