iPad Mini 4 With A8X Processor Arriving With Apple iPad Pro? Release Date Slated For April 2015?

The rumor mill continues to churn out details about the possible release date for the Apple iPad Mini 4.

Previous grapevines about the iPad Mini 4 suggested that the new mini slate might be available in the market at some point during fall season of this year, particularly on October. However, latest news, as reported by MacWorld.co.uk, is now claiming that the Apple tablet might arrive earlier.

More specific iPad Mini 4 release date rumors point to an April unveiling for the new device although there are some suggesting that it might be launched on June 2015.

Aside from the potential iPad Mini 4 release date, it is also highly-talked about that the next-gen mini tablet might arrive together with the Cupertino-based much bigger slate, currently dubbed by some as the iPad Pro. The massive tablet is reportedly getting a 12.2-inch screen and as cited on DesignNTrend, it is going to be "Apple's first tablet designed specifically for work." If this rumors pan out, the iPad Pro will be placed as one of the competitions of Microsoft's line of Surface Pro tablets.

Meanwhile, the tech world is anticipating huge changes to the iPad Mini 4, especially since the current-gen mini tablet, the Mini 3, lack major upgrades. MacRumors noted that the iPad Min 4 might be equipped with a 128-bit A8X chipset partnered with 2 GB of RAM. Japanese mag called Mac Fan also suggested that the iPad Mini 4 will have even more thinner design.

Apple has not made any comments yet regarding these purported details about its upcoming iOS tablet devices. Thus, tech fans are advised to take all these information with a grain of salt.
