The Americans Season 3 Release Date Tomorrow, Check Out The Promo Trailer, Spoilers, Synopsis, And More [VIDEO]

The Americans is a show about KGB sleeper agents in the 80's. The show is entering season 3, and if the trailer, available below, is any indication this season will focus more on family members, especially about if they will tell their daughter Paige who they really are. Here is everything currently going on with the show. The release date for season 3 is tomorrow January, 28th.

The NY Post reports, "He doesn't want her pushed into something at such a young, vulnerable, impressionable age where in a few years she's up over her head, because it's not a job you can quit overnight or walk away from," Rhys says. "He doesn't want her to have to do the many awful things he has to do in order to stay alive and therefore keep the family alive."

"She's less snappy and snarky towards them," Taylor says. "She's starting to come into her own and realize who she is, so her parents aren't as annoying to her as they were before."

"I think it would be really hard for Paige to understand and to absorb if she did find out," Taylor says. "That's such a huge thing to hear, that your parents aren't who they said they were for the past 13 to 14 years.

"Hopefully eventually she would ... start to respect that her parents are doing the same thing that she's doing with the church - they're fighting for something they believe in and want to have a motive to live for."

"I'm just excited to hopefully be a spy; that would be awesome," she says.

"I don't know if they'd have me kicking butt like Elizabeth and Philip do ... or wearing disguises. I'm up for anything. It would be so exciting to join their family business."

Deadline reports, "We can't give that away. That would take all the fun out of it," exclaimed Weisberg, joking: "Redact! Redact! Redact!"

The panelists - Weisberg, Fields, and cast members Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich - were relaxed and jovial today, but like their show's characters, were not about to spill any deep secrets to just anyone.

Said Fields: "We love Margo as a person, we love Claudia as a character, and Claudia is not dead."

"I think our strong inclination is just to try to make the show better," said Weisberg. "In a way that's all we know how to do."

TV Line reports, "I don't look at it like I'm recruiting this teenager to do what I do and turn tricks for strangers," Russell explained during a Television Critics Association winter press tour panel. "She's this mother watching a daughter being indoctrinated by someone else. If she's going to be indoctrinated by someone, it's going to be me. She wants it to be important and about socialism."

Russell added that Elizabeth's actions "come out of great love for her daughter and wanting her to be a substantial human being. How do you navigate the world if you don't know who you are?"

"It feels like a huge injustice for someone to not know who they are," she added. "I feel like that's a worthwhile argument."

The discord between the husband and wife over the subject matter will continue to weigh on their marriage in the new season.

"Every time Philip rejects the idea of telling [Paige who they are], it's that weird marital dance of Elizabeth feeling rejected by Philip," Russell said. "You're rejecting everything I am."

The conflict between the marrieds is "really relatable" even if one isn't a spy, Russell argued. "Raising children is an incredibly emotional experience. You each, as individuals, have different views on it, obviously, and it's everything to you."
