Billboard Praises INFINITE H For Their ‘Evolution In Sound And Style’

Billboard praised INFINITE’s side project INFINITE H for their “evolution in sound and style.”

This past Monday, Billboard released a K-Pop column on their K-Town page titled ‘INFINITE H Serve Slick, Synthy Hip-Hop on ‘Pretty’’ and spotlighted the group.

“In 2013, INFINITE’s Hoya told Billboard that he and bandmate Dongwoo had begun preparing new tracks together as INFINITE H earlier that year,” read the Billboard article. “The long wait is over for the rap-focused splinter duo who show evolution with their sound and style in their new single, Pretty.”

INFINITE H was first known through their single, Special Girl, which featured a more west coast hip-hop sound. However, this time around they have added a bit of a modern touch with synth sounds.

Unlike their previous releases, “Pretty” features only Hoya and Dongwoo and no other featured rappers.

Billboard also displayed that the music video for “Pretty” doesn’t match with the “romantic feeling” of the song, but that their were some fashion hits throughout the video.

The duo worked together to create the rap for this album and also worked with producer 9999 for the completion of this album.
