Group Block B’s Japan debut single, Very Good, has topped the Tower Records Single Chart.

“According to Tower Records, Block B’s debut single that released on January 21st is currently at the number one spot on the single chart,” read an official statement by Block B’s agency, Seven Seasons.

Also, although this is the group’s debut single in Japan, they have continued to stay within the ‘Top 5’ on the daily chart since their release.

On January 16th-17th, they held a live concert and was praised by Japanese group AKB48, who were also in the audience of this show.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, known as the Lady Gaga of Japan, also tweeted the group’s music video on her twitter as well.

This past weekend, the group also held a hand-shaking event in Tokyo and Osaka and met with many of their fans.

During their six hour hand-shaking event, 3,000 copies of their debut single was also sold, according to reports.
