Even if she's busy with her Tinseltown commitments, Ryan Reynolds' wife Blake Lively made sure to stand up for a notable cause. The former "Gossip Girl" actress may be seen in the new documentary entitled "A Path Appears."

The documentary features several celebrities such as Ashley Judd, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Garner travelling around the world as they see firsthand the effects of poverty and gender inequality. People magazine reports that the celebrities also got the chance to meet with other people fighting for the causes.

In a clip taken from the documentary, Ryan Reynolds' wife Blake Lively talked about what she learned from partnering with My Life, My Choice.

"I have a new perspective of what it means to have your body sold in this country. Not everybody is free. I see how much more opportunity people need," she said.

My Life, My Choice is a charity founded in 2002. It aims to help stop the sexual exploitation of children.

Apart from the Jan. 26 showing, "A Path Appears" will be also shown this Feb. 2 and Feb. 9 on PBS.

The issue of child exploitation hits close to Ryan Reynolds' wife Blake Lively especially after giving birth to a baby girl last month in Bedford, New York.

Recently, the "Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" actress gushed about her new role.

"This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day. I often feel like, "I can't believe I'm expecting this," as reported by Cambio.

The "Green Lantern" actor also couldn't hide his happiness. In an interview with People magazine, he talked about doing the unimaginable just to comfort their firstborn.

"I gotta jump in and do all those sorts of things. I mean, I've even tried breastfeeding," he said.

Despite the hardships, the 38-year-old told the publication that he finds the experience amazing.

"It's amazing that you can be that exhausted and that happy at the same time," Ryan Reynolds was quoted saying.
