Mischa Barton made it to the news as she was snapped sans make-up during a coffee run in West Hollywood on Thursday as she marked her 29^th birthday over the weekend. The actress, once the lead of "The O.C." kept her ensemble low-key as she sports a pair of Chuck Taylor.

"The former O.C. darling stepped out in West Hollywood au natural on Thursday, showing off her fresh-faced glow," said E! News. " But hey, it's understandable that a gal may skip the concealer before her daily cup of joe. Also note, her once dirty-blonde hair is now a new peachy-blonde hair hue."

During her birthday, Mischa Barton took to Instagram to post a selfie along with a giant teddy bear. The former "The O.C." star captioned the image: "Self explanatory. With a giant bear. What else would I get from the crew outside my door this morning!! So much love!! Ziggy's is in one week!!"

It's been a rough few months for Mischa Barton, according to previous news reports.

There was the report that she was five months behind on her rent amounting to $100,000, said People.

"The lender has placed the property in foreclosure, meaning Barton risks losing the estate unless she works out an agreement or gets current on her payments soon," the magazine said. The actress took out $4.2 million loan in order to acquire the eight-bedroom property in Los Angeles.

Mischa Barton seems to be on the comeback trail, according to different news sources, as she's filming "Deserted" in Culver City, California.

In a report from TMZ, the filming had a strange turn when a fleeing suspect tried to blend in on the set to escape from the cops.

"Production sources tell us Mischa and 'Sons of Anarchy' star Winter Ave Zoli were shooting a movie called 'Deserted' outside a bar in Culver City, CA earlier this month ... when a strange guy ran up and asked if he could hang with the actresses," the report said.

The ruse failed to work because the police spotted the guy and arrested him, according to TMZ news on Mischa Barton.
