We compare the HTC One Mini 2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini in terms of their display, hardware, camera, storage, battery and price to see which smartphone is better.

According  to GSM Arena, the HTC One Mini 2 has a Super LCD2 display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 and ppi of 326 while the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has a Super AMOLED display with the same pixel density and resolution as to the HTC One Mini 2.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini runs on an Exynos 3 Quad 3470 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with 1.5 GB of RAM and Mali-400MP4 GPU. In comparison, the HTC One Mini 2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

The HTC One Mini 2 has a 16GB of memory and its storage capacity could be increased up to 128GB via memory card while the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has 16GB variants and its storage capacity could be increased up to 64GB via memory card.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has an 8MP camera at the back and a 2.1MP camera on the front. The camera has LED flash, HDR, panorama, Geo tagging and face detection. However, the HTC One Mini 2 has a 5MP camera on the front and a 13MP camera at the back. The camera has HDR, Geo tagging, face/smile detection, panorama and other photography features.

The HTC One Mini 2 has a 2110 mAh battery while the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has a 2100 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini costs $381, while the HTC One Mini costs $249 according to Amazon.
