On Thursday, K-pop girl group EXID released their song “Up & Down” in Japan.

"EXID will release their song in Japan on Feb. 5," said a Yedang Entertainment spokesperson in a phone interview earlier this week with Korean news outlet OSEN.

"They will be releasing their original Korean version in Japan. No other activities have been confirmed yet." 

"Up & Down" was released online in Japan through Sony Music's Recochoku Chart.

EXID originally released the single last August. Though initial sales were cold, "Up & Down" topped the Korean pop charts four months later, after a fan-shot video of band member Hani performing her dance routine for the song went viral on several social networking sites
