Celebrities Online Activities, More Harm than Good? 'SNS Boundaries'

Stars grow and improve through the love and support they receive from their fans and the public. Stars should also keep in mind that their private life may also become attacked as well. Stars make social media platforms in order to thank and communicate with their fans online. They can also use the online platform to advertise themselves as well.

Stars tend to post messages about their day or what they're thinking as well as pictures and videos. This allows them to discuss and chat with their fans as well.

However, it seems that these social media platforms are not always a positive reaction. Some stars find that it gives the opposite effect.

The 'T-ARA crisis' from a few months ago was started through a twitter message. The messages implied certain things that seemed to be aimed toward now ex-member Hwayoung.

Kang Byung Gyu was also accused and reported by actor Lee Byung Hun for his false message on twitter.

Kim Jang Hoon had also written something on twitter that resulted in people thinking that him and Psy had a bad relationship.

Actress Lee Chae Young had also recently posted a message that implied a suicide attempt, gaining much attention online. Later it was revealed that she had written it as a literary meaning.

Most recently is IU and Super Junior Eunhyuk's picture. Many people were curious as to the meaning of the picture and groups were formed that were for and against IU.

Her agency stated that Eunhyuk had visited IU when she was sick and that they were just close friends. However, many internet users have found evidence that this statement could quite possible be untrue.

It may seem fun at first, but celebrities should remember to think before they write or post because one message may ripple out to a few thousand fans and could end up bigger than they expected it to be.
