Rapper Psy is to receive the 'New Media' Award at the American Msuic Awards.

People magazine reported that Psy will be attending the AMA's in L.A. on November 18 and receive the 'New Media' Award.

On the People magazine homepage, they stated, "Korean rapper Psy has become a global sensation with his 'Gangnam Style'. He has received much attention on YouTube and other media and will be receiving this award."

Psy will also be performing his famous "Gangnam Style" performance at the AMA's. This award ceremony will be broadcasted live through YouTube as well.

Psy has recently won the 'Best Video' award at the MTV EMA's in Germany.
