Big Bang To Release Brand New Album Before The Summer

Big Bang will release a new album during the first half of 2015.

A representative from the group's record label, YG Entertainment, revealed details on Tuesday, Feb. 10 regarding the group's return and new album.

"Big Bang already has a grasp of their new album and all of the members have been coming out to the company building since the beginning of February to focus on the production of the new album," said the representative to Star News.

"Despite each individual member’s busy overseas schedule, they are working hard to prepare for the new album."

"Because there are productions that they have previously completed in their spare time, the likelihood of Big Bang’s new album coming out faster than planned is increasingly getting higher," the rep added.

Big Bang fans have waited long for the group to make their comeback. "Big Bang’s album release is at the top of YG’s priorities because we know very well how long the fans have waited for their new album," said the rep.

"The final product is high-quality and is coming along nicely."

While a release date has not yet been revealed, YG Entertainment expects the group to release the for-now-unnamed album before summer with the company's CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, hinting at April.

2012 was the last time Big Bang dropped an album together. Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri, T.O.P, and G-Dragon promoted Alive together with a world tour including stops in New Jersey and California.
