Girls' Generation Praised by The Guardian, 'K-Pop Princesses'

Girl group Girls' Generation receives praise from the British media.

On November 18, The Guardian stated that after Psy's "Gangnam Style" would be Girls' Generation.

The Guardian stated, "Girls' Generation will release an album in English next year and begin overseas promotions. They will be taking the baton passed on from Psy and reaching out to their international fans."

U.S. Weekly editor Mio Scobe commented, "Girls' Generation has a certain quality to them that has people head over heels for them."

On the other hand, Girls' Generation was the first Korean group to appear on CBS "David Letterman Show" as well as ABC's "Live! with Kelly."

Some say that Psy is a one-hit wonder, but Girls' Generation has more staying power. The biggest question is, will K-Pop become a permanent part of the international market?
