'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5 Episode 15 Spoilers: Warlord In Disguise Plays Part In Team's New Case; Danny Plays Protective Father

Spoilers for season 5, episode 15 of "Hawaii Five-0" revealed that a warlord living incognito could be the subject of a new case by the team. Meanwhile, Danny will play the protective father but will it drive a wedge between him and his daughter?

The Congolese warlord is played by Barkhad Abdi.

Those who watched "Captain Phillips" know Barkhad Abdi as the Somali pirate who took Tom Hanks' character hostage. His performance got a nomination from the Golden Globes and Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor, until he won for the same category in the BAFTA.

"Above all else, we really just want to see something different with this episode, and the presence of a variety of different characters should deliver that and then some," said Cartermatt. "On one level, you have a chance here to tell an action-packed, serious story, but there is also something more personal in here, as well."

"Hawaii Five-0" season 5, episode 15 spoilers can be gleaned from the synopsis which reads: "When a journalist is killed, Five-0 must use his past reporting to hunt down a presumed dead Congolese warlord who is alive and well living on Oahu. Also, as Valentine's Day approaches, Danny overreacts when Grace's texts to a boy start accidentally coming up on his cell phone."

Peter Lenkov earlier dished "Hawaii Five-0" season 5 spoilers to Entertainment Weekly when asked whether fans will see a wedding between Kono and Adam this season.

"We are playing this arc with Kono struggling with whether she's going to marry Adam or not. That's going to play out by the end of the season," he said.
