Tech reports suggest different possible release dates for Apple's upcoming tablets such as the iPad Pro and the iPad Mini 4.

If Apple's release history for its iPad Mini models is to be followed, tech fans will most likely see the next-gen mini iOS slate later this year, particularly on October 2015. However, various reports are emerging noting possible earlier release dates for the iPad Mini 4.

NewsEveryday.com's recent post cited reports that the iPad Mini 4 will have a release date on April or June 2015, alongside another iOS slate, the iPad Pro. Meanwhile, Christian Times posted a different yet close launch timeframe for the tablet, suggesting that the iPad Mini 4 might arrive either on June or July of this year.

Meanwhile, when it comes to specs, the tech world is expecting huge and remarkable updates for the iPad Mini 4, since its predecessor, the iPad Mini 3 was "upgraded only with a fingerprint sensor and the gold color option," as described by Newseveryday.com.

MacRumors posted possible iPad Mini 4 specs, noting that the tablet might have a 128-bit A8X processor, 2 GB RAM, as well as lighter weight and thinner dimensions.

As for the pricing, the Wi-fi version of the iPad Mini 4 might have a base price set to $399 while the Wi-fi + Cellular variant will be worth more or less $529.
