Psy Recently Spoke About Queen And Gangnam Style In A CNN Interview

Recently on CNN, Psy spoke about his life and childhood as he grew up in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea.

As the interviewer mentions, it's the "Beverly Hills" of Seoul. Psy has mentioned this in previous interviews to better describe Gangnam to the American fans and let them know the meaning behind the song. "Gangnam is normal and calm during the day time, and going insane at the night time," he continued on as the interviewer laughed, "I compare all the sexy ladies to the district!"

He mentions that growing up at Gangnam was good, but many people have a stereotype for Koreans and he mentions "unfortunately, it's not me,"

"I don't look like a Gangnam Style guy but I keep saying... I'm Gangnam Style,"

The conversation moved on and Psy had spoken about how he wanted to be a stand-up comedian; but after turning 15 years old, he mentioned that he saw a television program with pop songs and at this point, he saw Queen. Their concert at Wembley Stadium shocked Psy, and they were singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen happens to be one of Psy's inspirations.
