SNSD Jessica will be making her first appearance in a drama.

Jessica has been confirmed to play the role of Kang Jong Hee in the new KBS WED/THURS drama "Violent Romance", which will air for the first time on January 4th 2012.

The role Jessica will be playing is the ex girlfriend of the starring character Moo Yeul(played by Lee Dong Wook), and she will make an appearance towards the middle of the drama.

Jessica, who has receive positive reviews for her role as Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde", has people anticipating whether or not she'll be able to showcase her unique charm through this drama.

On the other hand, drama 'Violent Romance' is romantic comedy of Lee Eun Jae(Lee Shi Young) who has to guard the guy she wants to hit and Moo Yeul(Lee Dong Wook), who has to be protected by the anti fan of his.

This drama will air for the first time on January 4th.
