"Constantine" has just finished its season finale. Now the question is whether or not the show will have a second season, a question that has been dogging fans since the beginning.

The season one finale brought back detective Corrigan and a lot of plot lines to fruition. Essentially, the rising darkness has been able to combine and accentuate the evil of man, making a host of new enemies.

This week, it was a satanist who abducts children called '"The Man." At the begining of the episode, Abby has a vision of Corrigan dyinng, in which, ends the two in dealing with the tension for most of the episode. To complicate matters further, the Brujeria put a price on Constantine's head, one that Papa Midnight is intent on collecting. He nearly kills John but Constantine gets the better of him and leaves him unconscious at a crime scene. In the final scene, it was revealed that Manny, the angel supposedly helping Constantine, is the real foce behind the rising darkness.

Numerous reports are questioning whether the show will be renewed as it has been teetering on the edge of cancellation from the begining.

It can be recalled that NBC cancelled production on its season one, cutting it in half then they tried to change the time slot, which also reportedly didn't really help much. Recently, some have suggested the show will move to Scy-Fi channel but that is reportedly not going to happen and was an eniterly blown out of proportion rumor. It also may be difficult to move the show to a smaller channel because the budget would be too large.

It is said that the show's rating have not been terrible, they just have not been what the network wants from it. It has not stood up to its neighbooring show, "Grimm," but it still has decent ratings.
