Eric Nam Apologizes To U.S. Fans For Tour Postponement

Sad news for stateside fans of K-pop singer Eric Nam.

The YouTube sensation and After School Club host has had to put his American tour, that was supposed to kick off this weekend in New York City, on hold due to inclement weather.

"We regret to announce that all stops of the Eric Nam US Tour 2015 will be postponed," read a statement posted on Wednesday to promoter WME Radio's Facebook page.

"Due to bad weather on the East Coast, we have been informed that several of the flights planned for the duration of the tour have been canceled and it will disrupt the tour from going smoothly."

As winter weather continues to slam parts of the Northeastern United States, airline schedules have become difficult to rely on for many passengers, including the singer and his crew. "The local connecting flights from New York through to Chicago have been canceled with no guarantee of the entire team making it to each stop in time," B2M mentioned in their statement. "Considering this, we have decided it would be unwise to risk not being able to deliver a show to every stop. B2M Entertainment and WME Radio are working on alternate tour dates for when the weather is a lot more forgiving."

The singer himself also posted a message to fans on his official Facebook page apologizing for the change in plans.

"Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances that are far beyond my control, I must relay that my US Tour has been postponed until further notice," he wrote. "I am so incredibly sorry and sad to have to relay this news as I know that so many of my friends, family and fans have been making arrangements, booking flights and tickets to show me support and love that goes above and beyond what I had ever expected or hoped for."

"Thank you so much and I hope to be able to see you all and perform for you soon," Nam ended.

Fans are asked to check the WME Radio Facebook page for updates on rescheduled dates and refund details. Questions about the tour may also be submitted to support@wmeradio.com.

"We will update frequently," an second to the WME Radio Facebook page said on February 19. "However, please do expect the tour to be pushed out of the winter months so that we are able to avoid a weather situation again."

"We understand that this is very disappointing for both Eric and his fans, but we hope that you will still be able to join us on the new tour dates as Eric has an amazing show planned for all of you," the WME statement read.
